Mimi had a lazy lamb, lazy lamb, and lazy lamb…the Lazy Lamb is a chain eatery of hot-pot alike. There is a restaurant locates near the Spring Legend. This particular place provides the best baked buns (烧饼) that are crispy outside and spongy inside, not too salty, yet not too plain, and layered by sesame paste inside and covered by sesame seeds outside.
One day, we started discussing what for lunch in the middle of our decoration. My other half suggested a vegetarian lunch with a few buns and water only. I agreed in principle, but the buns had to be the baked buns from the “Lazy Lamb”. So, we went. We did not order any beverage, but two cheep vegetarian dishes with two small buns per person. The total order was as cheap as most of migrate workers would do. To my surprise, the restaurant manager offered us a warm seating and two pair of one-time only chopsticks (no charge) despite our meagre orders. He never lost his friendly smiles during the entire time when we were there. He also offered me a thermo bottle of hot water prior to our departure. I was deeply touched. It is as an old Chinese saying: “和气生财” (something like “your fortunes come from your smiles”). Thus, “I will be back!”
