A ghost lives in a “ghost town”

We recently mortgaged a small condominium in a distant suburb of Beijing – Huai-Rou District (怀柔区), in an artificial Alpine town “Spring Legend”. Our purpose of such purchase is definitely not for investments, not as many wealthy Chinese do. However, due to that most of property owners in the town are investors, and they usually do not live there, the picturesque town has recently been labelled a “ghost town” .

We would be a brave and proud couple who live in a “ghost town”.

Recently, my significant other half visited our still under-construction flat in order to supervise the progress, and cleanse his lungs and get more oxygens before diving back to Beijing’s poisoning smog…
