I did something crazy in this year’s (yes, year 2017) Valentine’s Day. I bought myself a necklace. It says 18K white gold with Onyx and fresh-water pearls. Sounds familiar? It is a piece of Ivanka Trump jewellery. Yes, I bought something after I read the Bloomberg news that there were many department stores in the US distance themselves from Ivanka Trump brand. Here, in Canada, the Hudson’s Bay department stores are still selling tons of Ivanka Trump’s jewellery (some pieces are 50% off). I would have not been interested in anything of Ivanka Trump if there had not been such talks. The brand-name items intend to be more expensive and usually not worth if one seeks for values due to that they are selling the names. I think I were a victim of reversed advertisements this time:(
